Enjoy using your Pretty Presets in the NEW Adobe Lightroom CC desktop app. A Photoshop preset, on the other hand, is applied in a program called ACR. A Photoshop action is applied directly to your opened image in the PS interface. The difference between a preset and action is where you apply within Photoshop. Click a preset in the folder to apply it. A Photoshop preset, like actions, contains saved processing data. Click the Presets button at the bottom of the panel and use the small arrow to the left of the collection name to open the folder of presets. To apply your presets in Lightroom, select an image and click on the three horizontal lines on the right-side of the screen. If you have previously unzipped the download, navigate to the folder that holds the XMP files. Go to File>Import Develop Profiles and Presets. Navigate to the zipped preset file you downloaded. Lightroom is one of the most popular options for photo editing, and with good reason.
